Changi Airport

Am currently transiting @ Changi Airport! Was planning to go to jiejie's place to take a nap before next flight but changed my mind n decided to wait here.. Mainly due to my heavy luggages! Can't be bothered to carry them around == shoulders aching...

Jie2: check-in ur luggage lah! I've left a saree at home for u to try on so I can make one for u, a sexy one ><

Am sitting @ a cafe got a green tea cake n something I had for the 1st time: fresh soya bean milk & bean curd + peanuts & sesami glutinous balls (aka dou nai + dao fu fa + tang yuen).. The tang yuen damn sticky.. Sheri's tang yuen way way way better!!!! No kidding! The daofufa + soya bean milk not sweet enuff == n I haven't tried the green tea cake, don't think it will taste good.

Jetstar's food sux too, got a chicken foccacia n only had half of it.... I think I'm hinted to go on diet today, keke

I miss my family! I miss Nisha...

As for her handbag, please refer to previous post to see what we bought for Sophie, its the same one, not the Monogram one. Latest version n cheapest keke Please also tell ur mom we failed to buy her crystal necklaces in Budapest >< oh as for u, bloody Cyril Poh, I got you a bloody scarf in Paris, u better bloody use it n buy me some bloody good souvenirs in Fiji, see u on Monday n enjoy penthouse ^^

Guinness

We finally visited the Guinness Storehouse, one of the must-go attractions in Dublin n we spent less than 1 hour (30mins drinking Guinness Stout, 20mins buying souvenirs).. The storehouse was about 6 or 7 floors introducing the history, the process etc etc.. We paid the entrance fees (€15pp), went in n decided to skip all floors, went through escalators n lifts n straight up to the top floor for the free beer n enjoyed the panaromic view of the city of Dublin (honestly more busy sculling down beers especially mom).. It tasted good! :) a bit like "kopi O" (bcuz of its color?), didn't taste like beer at all, easy to drink, n I must mention that no other tourists were thr, still early (9am) just us n 1 bartender, yes alcoholic keke

Brekky in Dublin

Went to bed at 8pm last night n woken up by mom at 8am, was going to sleep in but changed my mind since we only have today to see around Dublin hehe We r now having breakfast @ the Kingfisher restaurant right opposite to our hotel. Everyone is having regular breakfast: bacon, eggs, sausage n toast, n am only having homemade scone + coffee (watching my weight hehe) I have to make sure I look slim when I wear saree in Nov =P

Instant Hand Sanitizer ><

Sheri insisted us to carry these hand sanitizers while touring around Europe, n I have to tell her the unfortunate truth that we haven't been using them much! == Mom and I went looking for these hand sanitizers in KK on the day we fly n the 1st pharmacy shop near our house ran out of stock >< (how popular! in KK?!) n we had to drive to another phamarcy shop in Lintas to get them. Mom bought 3 bottles n told the pharmacist that she had bought the face masks. Well, we only used the hand sanitizer probably once @ KLIA while waiting for Gary to buy Burger King for us (more like mom forcing us to use it), and then I haven't noticed it throughout the rest of our Europe trip keke Not that we r not scared of the swine flu, we are always too hungry to think of H1N1 1st... At least I've used it twice AFTER eating to clean my hands in the train.. Keke I will bring them back to Perth for Sheri bcuz I think she has some sort of fetish for hand sanitizers, not that she likes to clean her hands, for some reason she just loves using them, yes a weirdo =P

Eurostar

We're leaving Paris for London now, and dad insisted to take the train instead of plane even though flying is cheaper! I slept in a bit today n then rushed to pack before leaving n dad got angry bcuz we r running 30mins behind schedule (according to his time anyway) and also bcuz gary n I carried a lot of bags (14 scarves, 8 LV items, n gary's 3 pairs of nike shoes that we bought yesterday n couldn't squeeze into our suitcases).. Dad had to repack for us to reduce the number of hand carry items hehehe

We then got to Gore de Nord station by cab n check-in like how we normally do in airport n answered questions from the UK customs: what is ur purpose? When are you leaving? Who r u traveling with? Etc etc... When it comes to scanning our baggage items, its not as strict as in airport, water bottle n sharp items allowed at least. And the train is not running as fast as expected (unlike Shinkansen bullet train in Japan) n quite noisy.. Keke

Mom was sick yesterday: tummyache, diarhea n vomit. We think she ate too much cheese for the past week from Holland to France n her tummy couldn't digest the food well. She had a good rest last night n she's feeling much better now :) At least she's proud that she visited the LV shop's bathroom twice n vomited @ Franklin D.Roosevelt metro station in Champs Elysees, Paris keke so jie jie n sheri, pls call her n she'll b happy :)

Amsterdam ^^

Pic 1 - Excellent view from our hotel room @ Movenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre, 4 stars hotel but the only disadvantage is its not really located in "city city centre", it takes abt 15-20 mins to walk to central train station n 2 tram stops to Dam Square, not ideal for short trip I reckon n dad kept complaining abt dis m(_)m

We arrived @ Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam at 6am+ (Malaysia time 12pm+) this morning. And I was glad to find out I can use my blackberry in Europe ^^ (Singapore roaming also can, only Malaysia sux keke) Dad last minute hired a driver guide to take us to the famous windmill attraction in Holland @ Zaanse Schans and cheese farm before checking in our hotel. Our driver guide, Adel who comes from Egypt has been working in Holland for 28 yrs. Funny things always happen when I travel with my family. It took him a while to get us to Zaanse Schans due to unexpected road block n when we finally got thr abt 8.15am+, it wasn't open until another hour keke so he took us to the only restaurant near by, Burger King to eat breakfast n then realized its not open until 10am =.= He then called one of his Egyptian friends who owned a restaurant in a nearby town to specially make breakfast for us >< so we ended up visited his fren's restaurant (usually open at 12.30pm) n had awesome breakfast :D

Feeling so full (ate too much as usual) n exhausted bcuz of jet lag n I'm lying on the bed ready to sleep now.. Its already 10pm+ now but the sunset is just about to start (Pic 4)! Amazing huhh
